SUMMER
Western Oregon is blessed with nearly perfect summers, making this the most popular time to visit. The infamous rain and overcast days or replaced by sunny skies and comfortable temperatures. Eastern Oregon experiences much hotter temperatures in the summer. Wildfires have also become common throughout the summer in Oregon.
AUTUMN
Late September through October is a beautiful time to visit Oregon! Come mid-September, temperatures are moderate and the summer crowds thin; however, the possibility of wildfires remains until around November.
WINTER
Winters in western Oregon are chilly and grey with nearly constant mist falling from late November through March. The eastern side of the state, on the other hand, gets very cold, snowy, and windy throughout the winter.
SPRING
Mid to late spring is a great time to visit Oregon! Temperatures are mild, and you can enjoy the blooming cherry trees in Portland or whale watching along the coast.
